Do I have grounds for divorce?
Most states, including Florida, no longer require one party to prove fault (such as adultery or abuse) before a divorce can be granted. If you and your spouse both feel your marriage cannot be saved, you will likely receive permission to divorce. If one of you does not wish to divorce, you may need to complete marriage counseling before your marriage contract can be ended.
